Jodi Lyn O'Keefe was born Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey in the family of Noreen O'Keefe and Jack O'Keefe, a director of labor relations at Merck. The model began her modeling career at age eight after watching her oldest sister Heather modelling. She modeled for various companies such as Gitano Jeans and DreamPhone. When she was a teenager, she attended Saint John Vianney High School Holmdel New Jersey. Jodi left her school at the end of her sophomore year to make an appearance as a character in Another World, where she played Marguerite Cory. In 1996, she played Cassidy Bridges after she had been removed from Another World. Cassidy played her role for six seasons. As she was shooting Nash Bridges, she debuted in 1998's Halloween sequel Halloween 20: Twenty Years Later. Jodi became famous when she took on the role of the wealthy, rich and pretentious Taylor Vaughan as the star of the hit 1999 teenage film She's All That. The actress starred three other movies before settling into a lower-profile.
